How far would you go to protect someone you love? That’s just one of the many questions that this story asks and answers. Max is on a special assignment on behalf of the RAF (Royal Air Force). Part of this mission will put him in contact with a well known undercover agent as well. Only this other agent (Marianne) is quite beguiling. Their relationship soon becomes more than just professional. As their time together continues, some information begins to appear casting doubt on one of them. A trap is set and then it becomes a waiting game. Will the party take the bait? Is there any cause for the suspicion? Will they live happily ever after? This is set up to feel like a modern-day Casablanca. The idea the location and many of the details fail to live up to the original classic. Besides all of that, though, there is something to be appreciated here. You just have to be able to look past all of the flaws throughout. Pretentious in its pretense, this leaves you wanting much more than it provides. What does that mean? You’ll have to experience it yourself to find out.
