    The Review

A simple trip aboard the Trashman would become a battle of survival against the elements. When the crew aboard finds themselves at the mercy of a storm… They quickly realize that their strengths will be tested in ways they couldn’t have imagined. They managed to escape before the Trashman sunk but the only lifeboat that they have can’t even be used because the elements are more dangerous than the water that surrounds them. As the hours became days, their survival drifted further and further away. As some of them began to lose it, it’s one of the few shark movies that you might actually find yourself rooting for sharks to eat certain members of the crew. The original crew of six would dwindle down one by one until any hope of survival had disappeared. This true story did have two survivors but I won’t spoil it by telling you who. What happened to everyone else? The answer just might surprise you. The presentation was the first full-length film by Discovery Channel and it succeeded in telling the story but did it live up to the hype… That’s for you to decide.
