Danny and his mother barely escaped the Overlook all of those years ago with their lives. Only, for Dan, he never really escaped. Trapped in the nightmare through the years drove him to alcohol. As his life spiraled out of control, he struggled for any semblance of peace. While traveling through a random town, he comes across a stranger that is willing to take a chance on him and help him get the help that he needs. Just as his life seems to be back to normal, he experiences something like never before. The same ability that he has, has brought someone else to him. Only it's not just them, there's a group of individuals that are drawn to those with these abilities. This group isn't out to help them, in fact, it's the exact opposite. They focus on the girl and soon realize Dan is part of it as well. Now it will take more than any of them realize to escape the clutches of these nefarious individuals. Is there any chance? or is it already too late by the time they are discovered? This sequel to the Shining continues the idea of their abilities and takes it to a whole new level. Equally as hair raising as the original, this ventures into something that could become something else. Raising the question if this is the end of the story or the beginning of something else.
