The Review

As an average teen prepares to graduate and head off to college. He realizes that it is a lot more difficult than it seems. His grades are exemplary, he strives to do the best in whatever he can and he’s applying to the best Ivy league colleges in the country. So what’s the problem? It turns out to be a situation that is overly complicated, he decides to attend a party and when a bust happens, his life plans may be busted too. When he ends up with a package that was not intended for him, he has two choices. One choice could end his dreams and the other could end his life. Which option will he choose? A decision is made and his future is at risk. Friends and favors help him survive the risk but will his future be impacted? That can only be revealed in the ending. Now I ask you, is this young male white or black? Does it matter? Does it affect how you see this review or how you are imagining the movie? This story pushes the racial envelope. It tests stereotypes and social perceptions as the tale is told. There is a LOTᅠof questionable content throughout from drugs to gangs and even to manipulation/extortion. A story that has unlimited potential is told in such a way that you either can’t wait for it to end or you sympathize with the main character. Either way, the hype exceeded the type…
