Call it a remake, call it a sequel it’s still flatlining. Medical student Ellen Page has been fascinated with what lies beyond and why the brain doesn’t just shut off immediately after you die. With that, she dares to experiment by stopping her heart to find out for herself. She will need some help from fellow students to bring her back and record what happened. The side effects, however, might surprise them. It starts at stopping the heart for one minute then the competition begins. But are they prepared for the side effects that await them? Is just in their head? Are they seeing things? Something is haunting them, and these hallucinations, these side effects won’t stop until they figure out how to stop them. So for those who remember the original 1990 version, you would probably at least enjoy it and think back and compare. Those who haven’t, it may still enjoy the light sci-fi/horror aspect of flatlining and all of its creepy and mysterious repercussions. So is it a good day to die? Warning: side effects may include nausea, dizziness, vomiting, your fears, and sins knocking at your door… haunting you every waking moment of your life. But they should pass in time. Until then…see you on the other side.
