An over-the-top comedy about a group of hitmen and women coming together to take out the best of the best when it comes to being a hitman, Gunther. It’s shot in a mockumentary style which actually seems to work really well and hit some pretty funny moments in the movie. Blake Hammond, a professional hitman, is the mastermind behind the task of taking out Gunther for his own personal reasons. He wants to be the best so he will do whatever he has to to take out the best. Being the best it seems Gunther is ahead of them every step of the way. Every plan seems to get foiled in humorous fashion. The action is there the comedic moments are “hit” well and timed well and the cast seems to have the right chemistry to pull off this action/comedy. At times you feel like they could have taken the comedy a bit further but didn’t want to over do it. What do you think? I will warn you about how this was marketed in the trailers. Arnold’s character seems to be the center focus of the movie when watching the trailer, well, the last 20-30 minutes are where those shots in the trailer happen. Just so you know what you’re getting into. With that being said, leading up to that point has enough comedic moments to get you there with it’s relatively good run time. So can they kill Gunther before he kills them? Well that’s whole movie itself. Find out for yourself. This is not something you have to think about, just push play and laugh and shake your head a bit and enjoy.
