    The Review

Education is an amazing resource, as amazing as it is, by itself… it cannot determine your station in life all by itself. Maya is about to experience that first hand. After being passed up for a promotion at a job that she has given everything to for the last 15 years, she loses a bit of her spirit. She just might get her chance when she makes a special birthday wish. Little does she know that her friends are much more resourceful than she imagined. A twist of fate (and a few friends), will help get her in the door of a prestigious company in New York City. After that, it’s all up to her. Here she has a chance to achieve everything that she’s ever dreamt of but her honesty could sabotage her before she gets that chance. She’s about to find out where honesty really gets you in life and all of the perils of it. This could be all of her dreams coming true or her worst nightmare. It all depends on her. There’s much more at stake here than just a prestigious job. What she’ll do just may surprise you. This is a story of second chances, a story of dreams, and a story about refusing to give up. Such a powerful message, such a simple movie. Don’t let that fool you though, there’s plenty of laughs along the way, but the heart that lies within the story is what you’ll remember long after the credits are done.
