The Review

When anger is all you have left… All you can do is fight. A young man that grows up in the system knows this oh too well. He finds something he’s passionate about, then pursues it. Years of disappointment and rage get channeled in a positive direction. The next thing he knows, he’s got everything he ever dreamed of. That is until someone reignites the anger inside him. This decision will cost him everything. He must go back to the beginning, go back and learn… About fighting, about himself and much more. When he has a chance at redemption, he jumps at the chance. He’ll do anything to put his life back together (at least what’s left of it). This fight will determine everything… Jake Gyllenhaal has been the good guy, the bad guy, the hero and the villain, but this is the most real he’s ever been. The raw intensity of his character will inspire “Hope” in an entirely different way. You don’t have to be a fan of him or of boxing to love this. There is content for everyone 13+, the language is vulgar at times but instead of taking away from the idea… It adds to it. Come for the intensity, stay for the credibility and appreciate the authenticity… A movie that will change your perspective, in a good way.
