Starfleet has undergone many changes since we last saw the Enterprise and her crew. Specifically, the Enterprise has undergone some major upgrades as well as a nearly complete new crew. That might change though as one of the original crew comes forward and calls in some favors to get a chance to go on this ambitious mission. You see, there is an alien entity that is only days away from Earth and the Enterprise and her crew must investigate it. Upon arrival to the entity, they soon find out there is more to this than they originally thought. As they learn more about the entity, they will inevitably learn more about themselves. This will take you on a ride through time, to the future with the crew and to the past with references that are made throughout this story. The reinvention of a classic idea from TV Show to the big screen. Was it a success? Overall, I think that they stayed true to the Star Trek storyline. Taking an idea from sitcom to the cinema is a leap that is either make or break. Though this was slow at times, I think it was enough of a success that there might be more to come. Only time will tell.
