Star Wars is an epic saga that has re-invented itself over the last 40 years. We've been taken to faraway places, been on incredible adventures, and occasionally left with more questions than answers. At the end of Force Awakens, we were left with some of those questions. Where this begins, is a similar time frame so that the story itself is nearly continuous. We see the rebellion (led by Leia), and the dark side (led by Snoke), each side bringing some familiar faces along with a few new ones along the way. Now you may think that these stories have a certain similarity to those that we've seen before, don't let that get in the way of this experience. Episode VIII is beyond the typical saga, taking us to the past, the present, and the future all at the same time. Even though that might sound confusing, it flows well from one into the other. Alongside the story that Star Wars fans have come to know and love, there are many hilarious moments and one-liners through this presentation. All of the changes over the years could have gone one of two ways... It could build the story up or tear it down. After this experience, you'll know for sure which direction it went. True saga fans will absolutely rejoice, those who aren't familiar with the previous storylines may want to experience them first as there are some references here that would be spoilers if you had missed some of the others. Either way, it's an unforgettable adventure.
