The Review

An illness has changed them. The only to protect them and everyone else is to quarantine them together. Each and every child must be taken, tested, and their fate is chosen based on their color. There are 5 colors, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Once sorted, the children are assigned tasks based on their color. There are those who are aware that they are different amongst the rest. Determined to free themselves from the camps, they find a way to escape and attempt to find east river. East River is an area where children can live in peace but is it real or just a myth. That's what these kids are about to find out. Once they get to their destination, the realization of what it is and who is in charge could change everything. Will they find their freedom or will there be more? Those questions and more will answer themselves as this story is told. The story feels a bit like a combination of The 5th Wave and Divergent, as there are similarities to both. Even with that, it stands on its own. The ending hints that there may be more to come but we'll have to wait and see where they can go from here.
