Mondays are the worst, except for the first Monday in May. This day is when people from all walks of life come together to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to revel in the world of fashion. Itﾒs the museums fundraising event of the year and all sorts of famous people come to celebrate, donate and admire. For years people have argued whether fashion is simply an ﾑapplied artﾒ or if it should even be considered art at all. Many fashion icons throughout the world discuss their intimate thoughts and views on their profession and what it means to the world. This film is a documentary of the METﾒs 2015 exhibition of China: Through the Looking Glass. It not only exposes all the planning and preparations for the exhibit but it also examines how fashion has changed throughout history and different cultures. As normal documentaries go, itﾒs a slower pace serious film that can broaden your world view if you keep an open mind.
