The Review

Aaron Swartz, a prodigy from a young age. He was constantly seeking new information, hungry for information even more than food. His love for computers started at an early age and by pre-teen, he was already writing codi and rewriting existing programs. The intellect contained in this one man would forever change our world. Some of the items he developed/co-developed include Reddit, RSS, Creative Commons and much more. In his ongoing search for the betterment of society through the digital age, Aaron ran into many roadblocks. Those included personal and legal issues. Through all of it he never gave up on his search. What he was able to expose went much further than he could have imagined. The legal battle that he ensued overtook him and ultimately the legal threats from the federal prosecutors proved too much and we all lost someone who truly had the ability to change the world. This documentary gave us insight into the private world of this private man whose sole purpose was to make the public more aware. This will open your eyes and hearts, seeing what he accomplished and what he continued to strive for. May we all take something away from this...
