Magic, something that some may dismiss as balderdash... but something that others regard as something to be revered. There are different types of magic, dark and light... What Kaulder's job involves is a little bit of both. Kaulder is a witch hunter, the last in fact. He saves us from the witches and saves the witches from themselves. A time comes where he must face a personal challenge... he must remember something. What he must remember is key to stopping the rebirth of an evil that can take over the world. In order to remember it, he must get some help from one of his foes. Trust is a commodity that is not easily given or earned... He must face this before it's too late. Will he succeed or will he succumb to that which is beyond his control. This tale feels like a copycat of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", you have your hero, a pinch of immortality, someone that he needs to help, and an evil that needs to be stopped before it's too late. Now saying that there are some differences that make this its own but the ideas are so similar that you can't help but recognize specific pieces. One part, in particular, stands alone from the rest because of a twist that's added in. Some might see it coming (I did) but others won't quite catch it as easily... An interesting story that took a somewhat tired idea and added a little extra to it. Though not for all, this will have its following, only you can decide if it's for you.
