The Review

Santa Claus circumnavigates the globe once a year to deliver presents to boys and girls around the world. With all of the years that Santa has been doing this, he’s begun to get tired. On top of that, he has come down with a case of near pneumonia. His physician has advised him that bed rest is the best option. Because of this, Santa has decided to cancel Christmas. Those closest to him cannot even fathom canceling Christmas so they try to figure out a solution that works for Santa and all of the boys and girls around the globe. Only it will take powers much greater than what they are capable of. Come along for the ride as we get to see Christmas from a different point of view and begin to see that there’s so much more to the holiday than many realize. This is a classic for all ages that will be appreciated for years to come.

SONGS / LYRICS FROM THE MOVIE

ANYONE COULD BE SANTA

Who would know the difference if Santa Claus was me,
Yes who would know the difference,
Just Santa Claus and me,

Anyone can be Santa,
Why can’t a lady like me,
I admit I’m underfed,
But with a pillow from the bed,
I could be Santa Claus,

Anyone can play Santa,
I fantasized it a lot,
With his hat upon my head,
And his suit of Christmas red,
I could be Santa Claus,

And with his ho ho ho id be going,
Down the chimneys with his sack,
And although my curls may be showing,
I’ll make sure they only see me from the back,

Yes anyone can be Santa,
A tantalizing remark,
Though his boots are not my size,
With a twinkle in my eyes,

I could be Santa Claus,

With his reindeer and his sleigh,
I’d be up up and away,

I could be Santa,
I could be Santa,
I could be Santa Claus,

I BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS

I believe in Santa Claus,
Like I believe in love,
I believe in Santa Claus,
And everything he does,

There’s no question in my mind,
That he does exist,
Just like love I know he’s there,
Waiting to be missed,

I believe in Santa Claus,
But there was a time,
I thought I had grown to old,
For such a childish rhyme,

He became a dream to me,
Til one Christmas night,
Someone stood beside my bed,
With a beard of white,

So you’re too old for Santa Claus,
He said with a smile,
Then you’re too old for all the things,
That make a life worth while,

For what is happiness but dreams,
And do they all come true,
Look at me and tell me son,
What is real to you,

Just believe in Santa Claus,
Like you believe in love,
Just believe in Santa Claus,
And everything he does,

Wipe that question from your mind,
Yes he does exist,
Just like love you knows he’s there,
Waiting to be missed,

Just like love I know he’s there,
Waiting to be be missed,

Just like love,
I know he’s there,
Waiting to be missed,

SNOW IN DIXIE

It’s gonna snow-ow-ow right here in Dixie,
All will be white overnight it will be cold,
On Christmas day-ay-ay right here in Dixie,
We’ll do see do in the snow so I’ve been told,

We’ll build a snowman,
Our very first,
Take down that strawman,
And bundle up for winters worst,

It’s gonna snow-ow-ow right here in Dixie,
All will be white overnight it will be cold,

It will be cold,

We’ll do see do in the snow so we’ve been told,

SNOW MISER SONG

I’m Mister White Christmas,
I’m Mister Snow,
I’m Mister Icicle,
I’m Mister ten 10 Below,

Friends call me Snow Miser,
What ever I touch,
Turns to snow in my clutch,
I’m too much,

He’s Mister White Christmas,
He’s Mister Snow,

That’s right,

He’s Mister Icicle,
He’s Mister ten 10 Below,

Friends call me Snow Miser,
What ever I touch,
Turns to snow in my clutch,

He’s too much,

I never want to know a day,
That’s over forty 40 degrees,
I’d rather have it thirty 30,
Twenty 20, ten 10, five 5 and then it freeze,

He’s Mister White Christmas,
He’s Mister Snow,

That’s right,

He’s Mister Icicle,
He’s Mister Ten 10 Below,

Friends call me Snow Miser,
What ever I touch,
Turns to snow in my clutch,

Too much,
Too Much,

HEAT MISER SONG

I’m mister green Christmas,
I’m mister sun,
I’m mister heat blister,
I’m mister hundred and one 101,

They call me heat miser,
What ever I touch,
Starts to melt in my clutch,
I’m too much,

He’s mister green Christmas,
he’s mister sun,
He’s mister heat blister,
he’s mister hundred and one 101,

They call me heat miser,
whatever I touch,
Starts to melt in my clutch,

he’s too much,

Thank you,

I never wanna know a day under sixty 60 degrees,
I’d rather have it eighty 80 ninety 90 one hundred 100 degrees,

Oh some like it hot but I like it really hot,

He’s mister green Christmas,
he’s mister sun,

Sing it,

He’s mister heat blister,
he’s mister hundred and one 101,

They call me heat miser,
whatever I touch,
Starts to melt in my clutch,
I’m too much,

Too much,

HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS
(Gene autry & oakley haldeman)

Here comes Santa Claus,
Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus lane,
Vixen and blitzen and all his reindeer pulling on the reins,
Bells are ringing,
Children singing,
All is merry and bright,
Hang your stockings and say your prayers,
Cuz Santa Claus comes tonight,

Here comes Santa Claus,
Here comes Santa Claus,
Right down Santa Claus lane,
He’s got a bag that is filled with toys,
For boys and girls again,
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle,
What a beautiful sight,
Jump in bed cover up your head,
Cuz Santa Claus comes tonight,

BLUE CHRISTMAS
(Billy Hayes & Jay Johnson)

Dear Santa,

I’ll have a blue Christmas without you,
I’ll be so blue thinking about you,
Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree,
Won’t mean a thing if you’re not here with me,

I’ll have a blue Christmas that’s certain,
And when that blue heartache starts hurtin,
You’ll be doin all right,
With your Christmas of white,
But I’ll have a blue blue Christmas,

THEY’RE BE NO YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS

Santa woke for the night feeling things weren’t right,
And he was heard to say,

Get the reindeer hitched up momma I’m gettin up,
Get those gifts loaded up on the sleigh,

They’re be no year without a Santa Claus,
I dreamed unhappy things,
About a year without a Santa Claus,
And all the joy that Santa brings,
