Society as a whole has evolved past the point of emotions. People live and work completely devoid of personal expression. Those few that do exhibit any signs of opinions or emotions are diagnosed with SOS (Switched On Syndrome). SOS has four (4) stages, at the final stage there is no further hope for a cure and many choose to take matters into their own hands prior to that point. Each of the stages has its own method of treatment, all while hoping for a cure. A cure that would remove any trace of SOS from those afflicted with emotions. Two (2) young co-workers soon realize they are both afflicted with SOS, instead of seeking treatment... They find solace in their secret rendezvous. They do what they can to be together, that is until they are discovered. What will happen to them? You'll have to find out for yourself. This is the same idea as that which we saw in Divergent and The Giver. A slightly different approach towards it but without the wow factor that the others provided. Is it for you? Only you can answer that. If you're a fan of the others, you'll find parts to enjoy... If not, you aren't missing much.
