Some animals that we rescue surprise us by rescuing us instead. This is one of those stories, a young family trying to survive in the hustle and bustle of Hollywood soon find themselves with a houseguest. This particular houseguest has 4 legs and is fuzzy, so if you hadn't guessed by now, it's Pluto. Well, as time passes, he will soon prove he is much more than mere family to his humans. After that close call, the family decides that they need a change. A change that will take them halfway across the country. In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, they'll soon realize how far they are from L.A... Deciding to grab the proverbial bull by the horns, they devise a little trip. Little do they know, that this little trip will change all of their lives forever. An absolutely touching story that is straight out of the Hallmark Channel with its flow and plot.
