Brian gained the trust of his street racing colleagues while working both sides of the fence. After his cover was blown, he lost everything... He was no longer a cop and the colleagues that he had become so close too felt betrayed. So where does he go from here? He has an opportunity to work with individuals from his past in an attempt at a future. This will involve teaming up with an old friend and someone whom he has a bit more interest in. All the while chasing jobs to prove themselves loyal to an unethical drug lord. Though, if they don't play these games, they may not have a future at all. Is the reward worth the risk? That's the ultimate question... While this is considerably different from the first movie, there is still a connection that ties them together. Is it enough to entice more to come... That remains to be seen.
