Nadine has had a lot of challenges in her young life thus far. A difficult loss and feeling out of place in her everyday life makes it even harder. Now she finds herself at a crossroads, the decision that she makes will impact not only her own life but the lives of those around her. There aren't many that she feels close to in her life. Living life, day by day, she muddles through. Turning to a guidance counselor that cares enough to be a bit harsh. She'll soon find herself in a difficult situation regarding her brother / mother and best friend. This story outlines the typical teenage angst through the eyes of a teen that just doesn't seem to fit in. It crosses certain boundaries with strong language, underage drinking and sexual situations that might be inappropriate for some viewers. Even with all of that, the story is a near and dear coming of age tale that will definitely tug on your heart strings. Situations throughout the story will be relatable to many.
