Truly a movie that tries to be bigger than it is. A Bollywood attempt at a Phantom of the Opera (without the opera), Hunchback of Notre Dame and Frankenstein compilation. You have a disfigured misunderstood man who kidnaps the woman of his dreams. Then you add in a body builder that is obsessed with the same woman along with a bunch of crazed maniacs from a genetic experimentation lab... You end up with a mess. The experiments on the human subjects have adverse reactions. The mighty that were once on top of the world are now experiencing what it's like to be at the bottom. The one who lived at the bottom now dares to dream much bigger. All the while the beloved actress that was kidnapped realizes some truths of her own. Considering this attempt took 3 classics and turned it into an individual film I give it kudos for that. The way it was told left much to be desired. There was way to much fill and not enough of the basics. Sadly the bones of the story were broken and are just waiting to be reset. Three and a half hours of a confusing compilation of classics... Some may say brilliant... I say bah!
