The Review

The Human Condition... We all suffer from it. Well, it would be better said that we all experience it, sufferage is something that most experience in one way or another but it's the experiences that define it, not the sufferage. This story comes at us very honestly and openly, the idea is based on a poem. A piece about death, longing and heartache. Presented to us in a loosely based Monty Python skit style, it fails to live up to the legend of the group but succeeds in it's own frail type of comedy. Though it's not full laughter, there are moments that will bring a smile to your face. There are multiple errors throughout, it's set in the 1940's, yet in scenes throughout there are modern pieces strewn about (by character and by frame). This tries to do something rarely done though, it compares comedy to death. It makes light of dark times through history, which most viewers will find completely inappropriate. The reasoning for this is lost in the story, they're trying to make a point but the point is completely lost on the audience. Though there are moments where you'll smile, this will leave you with a darkness and a thought perspective. If nothing else, it's a conversation piece.
