This third installment of the Fast and Furious franchise takes a break from the traditional 10second, quarter mile racing and focuses on a different aspect of the racing world...drifting. The best place to see this, let’s go to Tokyo. Now getting into trouble is one thing Sean is good at. The day he got his license is the day he got his first speeding ticket. After yet another race takes place he gets sent to live with his estranged father in Japan. He soon gets into more trouble when he comes up against DK (Drift King). This veteran drifter also owns this style of racing and it helps to have an uncle that is Yakuza. Oh, and did we mention the girl he likes is, of course, DK’s girl. The rivalry and the challenge to race have now been set. Where to find a car? Enter Han. After Sean destroys his car in that race he now works for Han to pay him back. We have a friend and a rival and a country boy way outside his country. Can he learn this new style of racing? Will he ever be as good as DK to challenge him? And can he win the girl? This style of racing is very fun to watch and we know that the cars are always nice to see and hear. So if you love the first Fast and Furious movie and want to see some nice racing action you will most likely want to watch this.
