How far would you go to protect those that you love? That's what Dr. Kerney is about to find out. A simple home break in would become much more. Taking those closest to him and leaving him at a loss. He must figure out how to deal with this devastation. His choice, though unconventional, is effective. After becoming increasingly frustrated with law enforcement's efforts to find those responsible, he chooses to take matters into his own hands. In doing so he is quickly dubbed the grim reaper by local media outlets. Some see him as a hero, others as a villain, he sees himself as someone who is willing to do what cannot be done through traditional channels. Does that excuse his actions? Does that justify his actions? Is there ever a reason to take the law into your own hands? That question is as controversial as this story itself. Everyone has a breaking point, it just takes crossing that point to push any/all of us to do the unthinkable. What is yours? How would you handle it? If you've ever found yourself asking any of these, then you'll find much to enjoy here. Even if you haven't seen the original(s), there is something to be enjoyed. Fans of the original(s) will find quite a bit to pick apart but by itself, it stands strong. Are you a loyalist to the classic(s) or are you willing to give this a chance? Only you know for sure.
