The March women are an indomitable force. We first met them through the novel by Louisa May Alcott in 1879. Though the years have changed the strength behind them has not. All of the girls are members of their own secret club, in this club, they each have their castles into which they hide their deepest secrets and deepest desires. Each of them has grand desires for what they want their future to be, that is except one of them who sees her future as something much simpler. As time continues, they begin to follow their castles. Out of all of them, only one of them wants to follow her imagination more so than anything that could be in front of her. The way she wants to share this is the written word. Try as she may she faces rejection after rejection. The more she hears no, the harder she works. That is until a tragedy shakes her world. Her focus then begins to change, with this new outlook and embracing what is around her, she may find what she needs to make her dreams a reality. This modern adaptation of the classic novel tugs on many of the classic points that the original did. If you're familiar with the story, you'll have an idea about the path that this one will take (with a few surprises). It's basically aimed at a female audience, but that doesn't mean that more won't get something out of it as well.
