Music has the ability to transform anyone and everyone that listens to it. The melody, the lyrics, and even the person singing it are powerful forces. Only, there's a darkness behind some of the magic that we listen to. This details the darkness of one and the light of another. Jackson Maine is a renowned artist with a worldwide following. There is a darkness that he is drawn to even when surrounded by the bright lights and fan base that follow him. This darkness will lead him to find the love of his life. He stops at a little dive bar in an out of the way place in search of the darkness that he craves so. As he's nursing his drink, he'll come face to face with someone who could change his life. As they get closer, he wants to show her to the world and share her light. In doing so it will draw out more of the darkness within him until he hits a breaking point. She helps him to get the help that he needs but doing so might end up costing her everything. The experience here is not for the faint of heart, the context of the story and the language used (F-bombs throughout) could be a bit much for some. This story touches on many issues that could be sore spots for the viewers. It's an incredible presentation but it may be too much for some.
