An intriguing establishment that is on the border of California and Nevada. The guests have the choice of staying in the state of their choice. With such an intriguing opportunity, there are many questionable guests that choose this place as a way to get away. In this story, we are introduced to some of these individuals. An aspiring singer, a salesman, a young lady with another younger lady, an old drunk, as well as a few other interesting characters. They are all as different as you can imagine but they all share something in common. You see, there's a secret here at the El Royale, a secret that will bring them together and test their sensibilities. Though just about the time you think you have it figured out, another surprise may catch you off guard. There is something about a story such as this, it grabs your attention and takes you on an adventure but it tries to do too many things and all of it ends up a bit muddled. There are some intriguing details if you pay close enough attention but it will take a keen eye and a listening ear. A story such as this will be loved or hated by its audience.
