Adolescence is a difficult period for everyone, hormones are changing, and we begin to feel the sense of attraction. That's just it though, it's an attraction. There are no rules as to how attraction should work. That's what this young man is about to experience. He has grown up in a strict Christian household and is expected to follow the biblical standards for who he should or should not be attracted to. When he tries to be honest with his parents about who he is attracted to, they make the choice for him to send him off to conversion therapy. Try as he may, his interests never waivered.
