Baker is someone who is desperate to redefine himself. His life was much different from the one has now. As a decorated war hero, husband, and father, he returned to a world that he didn't recognize. Rather than wallowing in the sorrow, he started over. Plymouth island is exactly the sanctuary that he so desperately needed. Starting over wasn't easy but he found his way. Now an entrepreneur, he lives day to day in search of something that is just outside of his grasp. Desperate for Justice, he finds himself spiraling. Just when he feels like he begins to get his footing, a blast from his past catches up with him. She has brought him an opportunity, an opportunity to get back what he has lost, and opportunity to truly begin again. There's more to it than what it seems. As it begins to unfold in front of him the truth is revealed. What will he do when he realizes what's happening? Is this the opportunity he's been waiting for or will this truly be the end? Stories such as this are psychological thrillers that are on their own plain. Fans of A Cure for Wellness will surely enjoy the direction that this goes.
