A lot of people head to California when they want to start, whether they are starting out in life or starting over... California seems to be the place to go. That's what Clare decided to do. She left her life in Kansas to take new chances. Little did she know that her new profession would put her in a situation beyond her control.
As a rideshare driver, she expected a certain amount of adventure. What she didn't expect was that a late-night fare would turn into the ultimate game of survival. Carl has given her a challenge, if she passes, she stays alive, if not... well, I'll let you fill that in yourself.
Will she be able to beat him at his own game or will this game be her last? It's never as simple as winning or losing in a situation such as this though. Through the 13 portions of this story that becomes quite apparent. As the story concludes, there's an unexpected twist that is worth sticking around for.
This is a story told in 13 parts on Quibi. It's a complex story that is not for the faint of heart. The subject matter and situations limit its audience but it will certainly have its following. As for the score, it could have been up to a couple points higher if the audio/video had been in sync, no matter how good/bad a story is, if it's out of sync it throws the whole thing off.
