Mister Rogers is a welcome face that is welcomed into homes around America and around the world. How he deals with everyday issues in simplistic ways to explain real-life to children is admirable. In doing this, generations have grown up with an understanding of the world around them better than they ever had before or even after. This story is one of those that Mister Rogers explained to his audience, only it goes much deeper than that. The story itself focuses more on a reporter who has been assigned to tell Mister Roger's story. What starts as a story about Mister Rogers, becomes something more. Telling the story in this way is a bit much for younger viewers. This is actually a Mister Rogers story that is not kid-friendly. The subject matters that are addressed are more than a bit intense. Even with the intensity that is presented, it's still presented in an empathetic way that portrays those involved in an honest way. Even those that we look up to have flaws, it's part of humanity. It's only because of stories such as this that we can see that. Though it's not for everyone, it's a moving portrayal of a man and how that one man made a difference on and off screen.
