John is a writer with a fixation with murder and death. While writing his latest book "Decades of Death" John is beginning to see murderers and assassins in every shadow and around every corner. After his John's literary agent informs him that only one man (Harvey Humphries) is interested in his novel and he has less than two hours to prepare and meet him. It is at this point that John must face his greatest fear, the launderette.
This movie was quite good but fell just short of being great. The build-up of John's paranoia is well done, but the manner in which it was resolved was slightly disappointing. There are some animated scenes, but one in particular seemsﾠvery oddly out of place. That being said, Simon Pegg is fantastic in this. It's worth watching for him alone, particularly if you're a fan of him or his other movies. Fan of Pegg or not, the movie is humorous and entertaining and I would recommend seeing it.
