The revolution of a generation. Sounds like something spectacular, does it not? Well, it was something special, or should I say... someone. Tupac Shakur! Simply the name itself inspires emotion, whether that be inspiration or infuriation. From the very beginning, he was caught up in a movement that would change the world. His mother, an activist with the Black Panthers saw to it that Tupac and his sister knew what was important. Though, their "radical" ideas were a bit unconventional, to say the least. They sparked something in an entire generation that would lead to much of what we have today. Now, depending on what side of this you are on... You'll find that you're equally as passionate, either for or against. That being said, Tupac by himself was trying to do something that had never been done before. By doing so, he painted a target on his back. As any revolutionary will tell you, you must risk everything to have a chance at anything. That's exactly what he did. This is his story, loosely based. A lot of information was left out and other areas were over exaggerated simply for the effect. Fans of the music/movement will want to experience this, simply to discuss it afterward. The language and subject matters addressed have earned the R rating, I strongly emphasize the R rating as even as that, it pushes the envelope. Come prepared, this is more powerful than it seems.
