Who is John Galt? Well, we don’t know...yet! The mystery is part of the intrigue. This world is set after an economic collapse in 2016. Unemployment is incredibly high and gas is “insane” per gallon. Rail travel is basically the only means of travel. Government corruption is at an all-time high as you would expect in an economic crisis. Rearden Metal is at the forefront of their attention. An innovator in the steel industry and putting himself far above any competition. Well, this political system can’t have that. While all of this is going on, big-name CEOs and executives are disappearing at an alarming rate. So, where are they going? Nobody seems to know, they just vanish, nowhere to be found. Who is John Galt! This question is asked many times, but no one has the answer, at least yet. This is the first of 3 installments after all. So with all of these things going on, how is all connected? We do get some pieces but some are obviously going to be held back for part II and III. So should you be even interested? Well, if you like a good political type thriller (even if a bit toned down like this one) and a good mystery, you may want to take a look at this and prepare to watch part II shortly after. For it does leave you with questions you want to be answered.
