A sequel to the little-known Outrage that came out in 2010, this manages to exceed expectations but it falls short as a whole. The story of this one picks up a short while after the last one. The rivalries are still alive and well but the bloodthirst has increased. There is notably more violence in this one (which is saying something considering how gory the first one was), that being said, there is actually a story to this. An unfortunate thing about this film is that you must turn subtitles on unless you speak Japanese. The entire movie is done without subtitles (thank goodness for modern conveniences that do that for us). Though it manages to maintain a story, it becomes tired very quickly. Repeating itself over and over again with different characters throughout. Did the first one deserve a sequel? Yes and No, it left a lot of unanswered questions but this one didn't necessarily answer those questions, it created ones of its own. So where can it go from here? The Godfather managed to carry on through several movies, this godfather-Esque piece muddies the water with competing dominant families. What had potential, now has nothing more than a narrow audience.
