The Review

Culture shock is an understatement where this is concerned. Borat is a journalist from Kazakhstan and his newest assignment will take him to the United States. This mockumentary chronicles his journey across the country as he attempts to understand the people and places around him. It is meant to be as absurd as it is original. Exaggerating the eccentricities of people in general. Along the way, he’ll acquire a piece of literature (more pics than words but still…) and will see it as a sign for what he is meant to accomplish. Borat will chase this dream as far as it can take him. In doing so he’ll find himself in multiple compromising situations that are not for the faint at heart. Is this for everyone, absolutely not. The content is intentionally abrasive, in such a way that some will find hilarious and others will just find it offensive. If you’re a Cohen fan, you will most certainly want to check this out, if not, you’re not missing much.
