The Review

Following the painful breakup with his girlfriend Charlotte, a man wakes up from a hangover to learn she has moved out after renting the apartment to another couple. Determined to win her back, he reflects upon their past relationship during their college years and what he can do to win her back. With his romantic notion that the universe will do something to reveal his purpose to him challenged, he sets about moving on with his life.

This movie makes an interesting stylistic choice of never referring to the protagonist by name. The plot can beᅠfairly predictable and unexciting at times but has some interesting elements. The acting is very good overall and mostᅠof the characters are likable. This movie is fairly enjoyable overall. ᅠIf you enjoy drama and romance you should check out Brightest Star. ᅠIf those aren't genres that you particularly enjoy, you won't be missing out on anything by skipping it.
