Adonis Creed has risen from the streets to the Heavyweight Champion of the World. Now he finds himself in the position of having to defend that title. Someone from the past has resurfaced and challenges Creed to a fight, not only to challenge a title but to restore themselves in the eyes of their homeland. Their problem didn't start with Creed but it will finish with him. This fight brings forth many ghosts of the past for everyone involved. After the fight doesn't go quite as planned, it will test the resolve of those involved. Healing will involve much more than the physical injuries. An unexpected surprise will help with the emotional difficulties but it's the physical ones that will have to be overcome to have any chance at a real future.
