Nick Flanagann is a member of an elite unit of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department who is chasing down a group of highly skilled thieves. An elite unit versus an elite unit, one bad and one good...sort of. When your job is your life and your behavior is a bit reckless a family is hard to maintain but we only get to see a glimpse of that most likely to show the human side of the macho cop. So we have the thieves are plannings something big and he’s going to stop them once and for all. Yes, we’ve heard and seen this before. The heist, the cat and mouse game, the macho cop that will do anything to stop them. Relatively a straight play off of the movie Heat. But that doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie though either. The shootouts alone are incredibly played out and tactically amazing to watch. The action scenes are very well put together and are very entertaining to watch. Overall very well acted as well but does have some scenes that really don’t need to be there which makes the runtime a bit longer than it should be. In itself, it’s a very good heist/action movie. What do you think? Just another guilty pleasure action movie or is it something more?
