Well, it turns out Middle School wasn't quite as awful as Greg thought it would be. After all, he survived 6th grade and is now ready for 7th. Or at least he thinks he is. This year will offer even more hurdles that must be jumped, just to survive. He'll have to do things that he had never even imagined, just to have a chance at a successful future... So much pressure on a 7th grader... Yet, it's life. Once again, his brother isn't there to make it any easier on him. Their parents have a plan to try to better the situation. Little do they know the chaos that is about to ensue from their decision. This second installment in the Wimpy Kid saga definitely has more laughs than the first one had. It also addresses (not very successfully) some controversial pre-teen/teenage issues, and in doing so creates a bit of a conundrum. The heart that is presented here helps to balance some of it out, but for those who are a bit more sensitive... This may be a bit difficult at times. Will we get to see what next year has in store? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
