When a blind veteran comes into a large amount of money after a family tragedy, he becomes the target of some locals who are desperate to escape their surroundings. These three young kids are simply looking for trouble in all the wrong places. Coming face to face with the man that they thought was so inept and helpless, they quickly learn the truth. All of their planning couldn't have prepared them for what was inside. There is a lot of buzz about a twist that has Hollywood astir, the twist isn't as much of a twist as it's just plain twisted. One by one, they'll face him and be forced to see things through his eyes. A definite thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, but it just doesn't live up to the hype. That being said, there is something special about the way this was done. You get drawn in to what is going on, and although this is a ways off from the horror genre... It doesn't disappoint on the thriller aspect. Should you take a chance on this? Who knows, but if you like the edgier (somewhat gory) thriller, this is for you. If not, so be it.
