Fantasy Island sounds like the ultimate paradise. Once you arrive, you get to experience one of your fantasies to its fullest extent. Only it's never quite that simple... For there is a cost for everything. When the participants realize what that cost entails, some want to change things up but the deal is done. When some of the ones involved think they may have found a way out, they must act as if their lives depend on their very actions... because they do. Will any of them be able to successfully live out their fantasies and live to tell the tale? Or will the island's price be inescapable?
The original television show "Fantasy Island" was a light-hearted show about living out your fantasies. This movie adaptation is a much darker version of that but there are similarities that will draw you in and that even hint at the idea that there could be a sequel. How will it play out... Watch it and see. The darker tone to the story ensures that it's not ideal for sensitive viewers (of any age), but all things considered, it's an interesting adventure.
