Ghostbusters... A timeless classic that appeals to all ages. That is until now. This reboot of the original is not a continuation of the story, it's more a story all of its own. Yet, as much as it delivers, it just lacks... something. This is the story of two women (wait, you thought it was four... just wait) that have grown up studying the paranormal together. As they got older, they went their separate ways. The actions of one of them would inadvertently bring them back together. When they reunited there were now three... Their adventures will take them beyond the realm that is known into the unknown, more than they could have imagined. The pieces begin to fall into place and it finally begins to resemble what the past,ﾠonly in a way you might not expect. This is a cross between the Scooby Doo live action movies, Ghostbusters and there's a little bit of the Exorcist thrown in for good measure. Fans have waited twenty-seven 27 years for this. The question is did it live up to expectations? It honestly depends on where you set them prior to watching this. The humor here will leave you in stitches, the spooks are a bit more intense and might be a little much for some viewers, but overall this was an interesting tribute to the original. There are a few surprises along the way that will definitely put a smile on your face. Make sure and stay through the credits, there's something special at the end. This is something that must be seen to be believed... Do you dare? If so... Who are you gonna call?
