This movie is quite good. It can be a bit dark at times, particularly in the beginning. This story follows a young girl who has suffered a great deal of abuse and is definitely not a feel good throughout type of movie, but that certainly shouldn't stop you from seeing it. There are heart-wrenching moments throughout, but there are also hopeful moments that move the story forward. The personal relationships between the characters are an important part of this movie. The portrayals of all the characters was well done, which only made this more immersive for me. If you like character-driven dramas with a great story, then this is one that you shouldn't skip over.
