The Review

Imagine waking to find yourself imprisoned in a small room. Your only communication is with someone talking to you through a camera in the ceiling. You haven't been arrested, tried, convicted, and yet you find yourself imprisoned in this high tech yet archaic prison. All of the basic needs are provided at the most mundane levels. That's what Frank is experiencing. He tries to reason with the person talking to him and quickly realizes that there's something more to this. Using logic and reasoning, he does his best to outsmart/outwit the computer that is controlling every aspect of his life. As days turn to months, Frank begins to lose grip on what is happening around him. Or so he thinks. The ones responsible for him being here are after something that seems impossible. Will they get it from him? Or will Frank succumb to the stresses of his new life?

An intriguing story that's been told time and time again with a twist. Though it is a retelling of a story we've seen there is some charm that is redeeming. That is until the very end, a sci-fi story takes a dark turn with the politics it interjects at the very end. Some may appreciate it but others will abhor it.
