Politics, to some it's cut and dry... simple red vs. blue, and to others, it's a very muddy territory. When the election of 2016 leaves the Democrats scrambling for a new strategy, they are desperate to find someone or something new. When a staffer points one of them in a new direction, they jump at the chance. A midwest common-sense Democrat that could completely change things for the party as a whole. The thing is, he isn't a politician. So he must be convinced to become one by starting with the local mayoral race and working his way up from there. Only, convincing a farmer to become a politician isn't an easy task. There is one person willing to take on the job, and he is very convincing. Soon this newcomer begins to shake things up. As things play out, the donations are rolling in and the plan seems to be working exactly to their plan. It seems cut and dry the direction of this story but hang on, there's more to it than what is easily recognizable. There is a twist that you'll want to stick around for. What will that be? You'll have to find out for yourself.
Seeing that Jon Stewart was behind this, you can imagine the direction that it goes. There is strong language throughout and a tone that isn't for the faint of heart. Even with that, it'll surely have its audience. Should you choose to take a chance on this, make sure and stay into the credits for some bonus scenes.
