The losers club kids are all grown up. They've left Derry and left their pasts behind them, at least most of them have. When the disappearances begin again, the residents of Derry have no clue what's happening... Except for the loser that stayed behind. He reaches out to his friends to return because of the promise that they made all those years ago. One by one they return, but things have changed a lot since they've left. Now, they must face much more than Pennywise to have any chance of defeating him. They thought they left Derry behind when they left, but the truth is that Derry never really left them. Will they be able to do what needs done? Or, will they give in to the fear? So much comes full circle in chapter two... Though it still fits the horror genre, it's much more about suspense and intensity, with plenty of gore (it is Stephen King). It's more than it seems, is that a good thing... that's for you to decide.
