The Review

Choices, they define our lives for the good and the bad. In this movie, we see a man who deals with the fallout of his previous choices and the insight about future ones guiding his current ones. Along this path, he meets a 15-year-old survivor... Gary at the age of 15 isn't the survivor of war or disease. He's the survivor of abuse. He makes choices to better the life of himself, his mom and his sister. One choice he makes brings him to Joe. Joe makes a choice to give him a chance... 45 seconds help Joe make it. Throughout this story, Joe and Gary help one another. We see both of them grow, we see both of them make mistakes. A pivotal moment is where the roles reverse between these two. Strength and unity keep everyone together. Amidst the plot, are alcoholics along with bouts of severe violence. A well-told story of growth but needs a little more... something...
