Learning who we are and where it is that we belong is one of the hardest things about growing up. Many significant factors play a part in those choices, some we can control and some we can't. It's all how we react to those changes that define our character. Christine "Lady Bird" McPherson is going through this struggle first hand. Some of the battles that she faces are brought on by choices that she has made, the consequences may seem more than she can deal with but only time will tell. High school is coming to an end and a new chapter of her life is about to begin. What she wants and what her parents want are two entirely separate ideas. When those ideas begin to clash, a rift is created between relationships and their futures are at stake. This coming of age dramedy is one that you won't soon forget. The subject is raw and very real, the characters are relatable to many audiences of different ages, and there are more than a few laughs along the way. Now, saying that, it's not a story for everyone. Much of the subject matters addressed might not be appropriate for many audiences. Where do you set your boundaries? This might test them but in doing so, it dares to be different.
