The Review

An extraordinary young man is about to find himself on an extraordinary journey. Saroo is a young boy who loves his family, he does his best to help his mum and does everything he can to be like his big brother Guddu. One day, whilst Guddu goes off to work, Saroo begs to go with him. Reluctantly, Guddu agrees. This one action will change both of their lives forever. Saroo finds himself separated from all that he knows, and ends up in an unrecognizable world. Try as he may, he doesn't know how to get back home. Saroo is simply a little boy lost. His entire destiny is now adrift from that which he had known up til now. Soon he finds himself part of a new family. As wonderful as his family is, he can't help but yearn for that which he had lost. Years go by and he is tormented by the past that haunts him. With a new technology, he struggles to find his way back home. He'll face many obstacles and road blocks, but beyond that his biggest concern hits closer to home. Will he find his way home? If so will the reunion be everything he has dreamt of? Or is there more? All and more will be answered as this chronicles his life. An emotionally exhilarating yet exhausting tale of love and loss that transcends time and distance. Based on a true story, this delivers on many levels. Take a chance and experience this for yourself. You'll find something you didn't even know you were looking for. Make sure and stay through the credits, though, there's something special at the end. Take your time and take your tissues, you'll be glad you did.
