Matilda is a special little girl that was born into a no so special family. Her family sees her as an outcast when they see her at all. She might as well be invisible. That is until she meets Ms. Honey, Ms. Honey is her teacher at the Trunchbull school. Matilda always knew she was different but it wasn't till she was in Ms. Honey's class that she realized how or why. Her gift is something that she doesn't use so much for herself but for others. Even the family that has always shunned her finds surprising things begin to happen. As her relationship grows with Ms. Honey, she learns Ms. Honey's secret. Upon learning the secret, Matilda us determined to right a wrong that has gone on too long. Using her gift, a dash of superstition and a lot of love Matilda is able to achieve the long-awaited goal. As an added bonus she receives a personal opportunity as well. An adorable movie that mixes a little luck with a lot of love to bring you a touching story about overcoming obstacles.
